Indication / purpose:

For direct pulp capping. For root treatment with and without Depotphorese® if Cupral® is not preferred.

Application:

High dispersity through own production process: 1 g Calciumhydroxid-hochdispers has a surface of approx. 30 m2. Pure calcium hydroxide paste which shows the properties of pure calcium hydroxide in its optimal form, pH 12.4 – 13. It is suitable for the implementation of alkaline pulp capping (direct capping) as well as for root treatment in case of broad foramen apical (juvenile teeth) or as filling after a vital extirpation. It is recommended to use Cupral® in all other cases as it has a significant higher disinfecting capacity. For anterior teeth a mixture of 90 % Calciumhydroxid-hochdispers and 10 % Cupral® is recommended in order to avoid possible darkening.
